Brian Berger
[ Instructor ]

Brian began dancing at the age of 7 years old in Brooklyn, NY. He was taught tap by a former Rockette for 7 years. Upon moving to Staten Island at the age of 15, he became part of the St. Clare's Variety charity show. After that he began choreographing for the Hudson County Civic Theater for such shows as Nine and Follies. After making acquaintance with a girl at the Asdal School of Dance, he then became very active in competitions and assisting. He received a certification from The Dance Educators of America in 1991, with a concentration in tap and has been teaching ever since. Brian met Angela at the first Dancers United show. They sat next to each other and just clicked. It took was just one conversation and five minutes in one of her classes and their minds were set. Brian moved to L.A. Dance in November of 1995 as an assistant and became a teacher the following year. Brian then moved to Florida for two years in 1998 and danced with Disney...  never missing one of Angela's shows. Brian returned to NYC in 2000 and came right back to L.A. Dance as if he never left. Angela had said when they met They  were family and they'd never lose each other. And she was right!
